Meet Your Team Teachers

Ms. Dunn

Alice Dunn

Who Am I?

Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Alice Dunn and I am the 7A Math teacher! I am originally from Texas. I went to Oklahoma State University for my teaching degree and Sam Houston State University for my Master's in instructional technology. I am married to a great husband, Chris who works for the BNSF Railway. We have 3 children, a cat, and a dog! My motto is "if you can't make a mistake, you can't make anything" because mistakes are how we learn! I look forward to getting to know all of you and allowing you to learn more about me as we move through a great year!

Mr. M. Moore

Matthew Moore

Who Am I?

Hello, my name is Matthew Moore. I am the social studies teacher for team 7A. I am also the head coach for track and field and cross country. In my free time, I love traveling, exploring new places, and meeting and learning from people; I have been to Central America as well as Europe on a couple of occasions. Outside of school, I love spending time with my wife who also happens to be a teacher. Apart from coaching, I lead Monroe's African American History Challenge. Two years ago, we placed third in the middle school division in OPS. Thanks for taking the time to read about me. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Mrs. Harder

Carey Harder

Who Am I?

Hi! I'm Mrs. Harder.  I have been teaching for 6 years, all of it in 7th Grade.  Guess I just like 7th grade that much! I believe that reading and writing are essential to a successful life no matter what you are interested in or decide to do. I love to read (obviously), Sci-fi and fantasy, and movies.  I have a "horse dog", as my daughter calls our Great Dane, and a 6-year-old Pit-bull.  Some of my favorite things are: cheese, purple, the number is 13, giraffes.  Ask me about giraffes.  Please.  Ask me about giraffes.

Mrs. Marcoux

Tammy Marcoux

Who Am I?

I enjoy spending time with my family traveling and being outdoors.  At home I binge watch British murder mystery shows while folding laundry.  Lots of laundry.  "Sherlock" is my favorite. Life is busy keeping up with three teenage sons and a husband of 25 years.  That's explains all the laundry.  Science has always been an exciting to me, ever since making crystals in sixth grade science class. Science is fun, but not laundry.  My number one goal in the classroom is for every student to identify how they learn best.  I look forward to seeing all the new 7th graders this year.
